This linear polarizer has a reflective coating and is ideal for replacing the back polarizer of LCDs that use ambient light during the day and back-lighting at night. It has balanced transmission (43%) and reflection (45%) and high efficiency.
The glue is exposed by peeling off a film from the front side. It also has a protective film on the back (mirrored) side.
The film is 0.3 mm thick. It is shipped flat. The size of a full sheet is 50 x 1000 mm (19.5 x 39.5 inches). Also offered are half a sheet (50 x 50 cm = 20 x 20 inches) and pieces sized 25 x 16.5 cm (10 x 6.5 inches). The transmission axis is parallel to the width on the full sheet, but (contrary to our other polarizers) parallel to the length on the small sheets.
This film is a good choice for repairing liquid crystal displays (LCDs) with a damaged back filter.
