PFA – Polarizer with/without adhesive, LCD-grade

Description

This LCD-grade film has an optional pressure adhesive backing for application to any glass or plastic. It is neutral gray, has good extinction (0.0045 crossed) and 38% transmission. The glue is exposed by peeling off a film from the backside and has the adherence of standard adhesive tape. It also has a protective film on the front side that should be removed upon application. It blocks UV. <P> The film is 0.2 mm thick (0.3 mm with the protective layers). &nbsp;It is shipped flat. &nbsp;The size of a full sheet is 620 x 1000 mm (24 x 39.5 inches). &nbsp;Also offered are half a sheet (62 x 50 cm = 24 x 20 inches) and pieces sized 25 x 15 cm (10 x 6 inches). The transmission axis is parallel to the width on the full sheet and the small pieces, and <U>to the length on the half sheet. This film is a good choice for <B>repairing liquid crystal displays (LCDs) with a damaged front filter.
